Second network meeting is June 16^th 14-15.30 Finnish time

The second PBbase event on the 16^th of June 2021 focused on participatory budgeting in smaller scale municipalities. Tampere University researcher Dr. Pauliina Lehtonen discussed the distinctive qualities that are unique to smaller scale PB’s, and also what the PB-community can learn from them. Rasa Baliulevičienė from Rietavas Tourism and Business Information Centre talked about their experiences and learned lessons with PB in Rietavas, Lithuania. Verena Kortelainen from the municipality of Inari shared their experiences in conducting PB in a sparsely populated, geographically vast municipality in Northern Finland. All in all the event brought into discussion valuable key points regarding smaller scale municipalities that implement PB."
